March 22nd - “Costumes in the Wardrobe” Pam Towse will be bringing some of the weird and wonderful items from the Middlesbrough Theatre’s costume department. All welcome.
April 26th “Ready … Steady … Go … it’s”
Ryedale Show, lots of creative ideas for preparing and planning to enter the show. Members only
May 24th “How to cook purr..fect BBQ food”
Join us at The Moors Inn for a cookery demonstration with the experts. Open Meeting
June 28th “Flower Arranging”
Lindsey Smith will be showing us how to make a stunning flower arrangement. Members only
July 26th – Visit to Thorp Perrow Arboretum at Bedale
August 23rd “Summer Social”
Outdoor gathering with food and wine for members and guests to be held in the village.
September 27th “Lights, Camera, Action!”
Local photographer, Gareth Jenkins, whose exhibition, “Women of Kirkbymoorside”, was extremely well received in March this year will be talking all things photographic! Open Meeting
October 25th “Stitches in Time”
Glennis Whyte from the National Trust will talk about handwoven & sewn work in historic houses. Open Meeting PLEASE NOTE THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE GREEN READING ROOM, NOT THE VILLAGE HALL
November 22nd – Annual Meeting at the Moors Inn

Get that Christmas feeling with a party atmosphere and simple crafts. Members only

January 24th “Villages lost to the sea”
Malcolm Brooke will talk about the East Coast of Yorkshire and share stories of coastal erosion.

February 28th “Where shall we go?”
Jim Hall will take us on a mystery walk, no need for boots or wellies as this is a “virtual” walk!

March 27th “An island in the South Atlantic”
Member Denise Davidson will take us on a magical tour as she shares her experiences of her island visit.
